White TikToker Faces Backlash for Mocking Whoopi Goldberg’s Hair
A white TikToker has recently stirred controversy after making a joke about Whoopi Goldberg’s hair. Although the clip is not explicitly racist, it has angered many due to the TikToker’s feigned disgust and misrepresentation of a Shein curly wig as Goldberg’s signature locs.

The video shows Dean opening a package containing a pipe-straw curled wig and expressing his disappointment. He even goes on to say, “Shein, you better count your days because I did not order a Whoopi Goldberg wig.” The video gained attention when standup comic Anisa Nandaula reacted to it, emphasizing the discomfort she felt despite acknowledging that it wasn’t explicitly racist.
