On Tuesday evening, a highway west of Calgary was closed due to a vehicle rollover. The incident occurred on Highway 22 near Priddis, a hamlet approximately 10 kilometers west of Calgary. According to a release from the RCMP, a semi-tractor-trailer carrying lumber overturned around 8 p.m. As a result, the lumber spilled onto the highway, causing traffic to be obstructed in both lanes.
Although there were no reported injuries, traffic cannot pass through until the lumber is cleared, as stated by the RCMP. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
