John Edward Trimboli’s Obituary
YOUNGSTOWN — John Edward Trimboli, 52, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Early Life and Education
John was born on June 11, 1971, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Dominic Trimboli and Sharon Trimboli. He attended Chaney High School before embarking on a journey that took him to various states including California, Michigan, and Texas. Eventually, he returned to his hometown of Youngstown.
Beloved Caregiver and Passionate Cook
John was known for his loving care towards his grandmothers, Viola Luna in Texas and Helen Trimboli in Ohio. One of his favorite activities was to cook for others, spreading joy through his culinary skills. He developed a love for playing pool from his dad and grandpa, always using his grandpa’s pool stick. John even participated in a pool league and enjoyed playing darts.
A Gentle Giant and Protector
John was a gentle giant, always protective of his friends and acting as their bodyguard. Even in his passing, he continued to give back through organ and eye tissue donation, facilitated by Lifebanc. His legacy lives on through his son, Dominic Trimboli.
Lovingly Remembered by Family and Friends
John is survived by his parents, Dominic (Kimberly) Trimboli and Sharon Brien-Trimboli. He also leaves behind his siblings: Tina (Ruben) Jackson, Dominic Trimboli, Christopher (Kimberly) Schampan, Robert Schampan, Mickey (Caitlin) Trimboli, and Dominique Trimboli. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his loyal dog, Chewy.
Final Farewell Details
John was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Trimboli; his grandmother, Helen Trimboli; his grandmother, Viola Luna; and his uncle, Mike Trimboli.
A visitation will be held from 3 to 4 p.m on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at Life Church Leavittsburg, located at 610 S. Leavitt Road, Leavittsburg, OH 44430. Following the visitation, a memorial service will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. at the church, with a family meal provided afterward at 5 p.m.
