The Carolina Panthers are facing a challenging situation in the NFL this week. Despite their loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, they have a quick turnaround to play on Thursday. Unfortunately, the short recovery time means their injured players have little time to heal. The Panthers currently have 12 players on injured reserve, adding to their struggles as they have only won one out of eight games.

On Thursday, the Panthers will face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. However, the Bears also have their own problems to deal with. Panthers’ rookie quarterback, Bryce Young, has been showing improvement over time, but the Bears have been experiencing quarterback issues. Justin Fields has been out of play since Week 6 due to a thumb injury, and undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent has started in his absence for four consecutive games, including the Thursday night’s contest. Fields has been ruled out again for this game, and his return remains uncertain.

While the Panthers have struggled with a 1-7 record, the Bears have not fared much better with a 2-7 record. It’s uncertain which team will come out on top.
