Kristen Stewart’s Upcoming Movie “Love Lies Bleeding” Releases First Trailer

Kristen Stewart’s highly anticipated movie “Love Lies Bleeding” is treating fans with the release of its first trailer today. Directed by Rose Glass, known for “Saint Maud,” the film stars Stewart as gym employee Lou and Katy O’Brian as bisexual bodybuilder Jackie. The romantic thriller explores the bond between the two characters and the extreme qualities required to succeed in the competitive world of bodybuilding.

The poster for the film showcases O’Brian as Jackie, holding a gun, and a promotional shot featuring O’Brian and Stewart sitting in a pickup truck.

Co-written by Glass and Weronika Tofilska, “Love Lies Bleeding” also stars Ed Harris, Anna Baryshnikov, Jena Malone, and Dave Franco.

Glass’s debut feature “Saint Maud” received critical acclaim for its tone and performances, solidifying Glass as a rising horror director. Morfydd Clark, who starred in “Saint Maud,” will appear in the folk horror film “Starve Acre” alongside Matt Smith.

“Love Lies Bleeding” is set to premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. The release date for “Starve Acre” is yet to be announced.
