21st Annual ReFashion Show at the Huntington Mall

Join the ReFashion Show and Showcase Your Creativity
The Recycling Coalition of West Virginia is excited to announce the 21st annual ReFashion Show, which will take place at the Huntington Mall near Macy’s on November 18, starting at 1 p.m. We invite amateur models and designers from all across West Virginia to participate and showcase their innovative outfits made from recyclable materials.
Creating Fashion from Waste
At the ReFashion Show, outfits can be created from a variety of materials, including newspaper, aluminum cans, cardboard, plastic water bottles, paper products, and other waste items that would typically end up in a recycling center or landfill. It’s a fantastic opportunity to transform discarded materials into unique and sustainable fashion pieces.
Categories and Prizes
The show is open to participants of all ages. Entries will be divided into two age categories: 13 and under, and 14 and over. The categories include the Shopping Challenge, Newspaper Challenge, Cosplay Comic-Con, and General. Winners in each age category will be awarded the following cash prizes:
- First Place: $250
- Second Place: $150
- Third Place: $100
Additionally, themed category winners will receive a $50 gift card.
