World Series Game 4: Rangers take big lead vs. Diamondbacks; score, highlights, news and live tracker

Tuesday’s Game 4: Rangers Dominate Diamondbacks

Tuesday’s Game 4 of the World Series between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks showcased an impressive performance by the Rangers. The game started as a bullpen game for both teams, with Andrew Heaney starting for the Rangers and Joe Mantiply for the Diamondbacks.

Unfortunately, the Diamondbacks played without their star player, Adolis GarcĂa, who suffered an oblique injury in the previous game and was removed from the World Series roster. Additionally, Max Scherzer of the Rangers was also removed from the roster due to an injury sustained in the previous game.

Rangers’ Explosive Offense

The Rangers’ hitters wasted no time making an impact in Game 4. They quickly scored five runs in the second inning, including a triple from Marcus Semien and a home run from Corey Seager. Seager’s home run tied him with Carlos Correa for the second-most home runs by a shortstop in MLB history.

In the third inning, the Rangers continued their dominance with another five-run rally, making the score 10-0. Marcus Semien stood out with his first home run of the postseason. Notably, all the scoring in both innings happened with two outs.

The game ended with the Rangers securing a significant lead, with the final score being 10-1 in their favor. The Diamondbacks managed to get on the board with a sacrifice fly from Gurriel Jr. scoring Moreno, but it was not enough to close the gap.
