Unbelievable! Connect and chat with ANYONE in Meta Horizon Worlds using mind-boggling World Chat—Are You Ready for the Ultimate Texting Revolution?!

The newest feature from Meta Horizon Worlds brings back memories of the nostalgic AOL chat rooms. In version 130 of the Meta Horizon Worlds, the company is officially rolling out its new World Chat feature. This allows users in a world session to engage in a group text chat together.

Real-Time Engagement

Meta understands the importance of real-time communication within a community. In addition to voice chat, the new World Chat feature is now available to all users, enabling them to connect more easily.

Connecting and Interacting

Users can now mention and connect with each other in the chat. By clicking on a person’s name, users can view their profile and invite them to connect. World Chat also allows users to @mention others who are in the same world session, making it effortless to meet and interact.

Accessing World Chat

To access World Chat, users can look at the wristband on their avatar’s left wrist and select the [world] icon. From there, they can connect with or follow other chat participants by clicking on their names and view their profiles.

Meta has mentioned that while the feature is rolling out widely, it may not be immediately available to all users as they continue to make improvements and changes.

Additional Updates in Version 130

Aside from the World Chat feature, version 130 of Meta Horizon Worlds includes various updates. One of the improvements allows creators to send callback events from the Spawn Asset with Callback code block to players and objects. The update also fixes a bug that previously displayed incorrect follower and following counts on users’ profile pages.

Countdown to Meta Quest 3

The release of Meta Quest 3, the next-generation consumer-focused mixed-reality headset from Meta, is just around the corner. Featuring a 40% slimmer optic profile, a display with 2064 x 2208 pixels per eye, and enhanced visual resolution and audio range compared to its predecessor, the Quest 3 is highly anticipated by consumers.

The Quest 3 comes equipped with the second generation of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 processor, delivering superior performance. With a battery life of two to three hours, removable batteries in the redesigned controllers, and full-color passthrough mixed-reality, the Quest 3 offers an immersive and advanced experience.

Configurations and Preorder Benefits

The starting price for the Quest 3 is $499 for the 128GB configuration, with a 512GB configuration available for $649. Customers who preorder the Quest 3 will receive a copy of Asgard’s Wrath 2 upon its release on December 15th. Additionally, those who opt for the 512GB configuration will enjoy six months of Meta Quest+.

Choosing the Meta Quest 3 over Apple’s Vision Pro headset, anticipated to launch next year with a price tag of $3,500, demonstrates high expectations for mixed reality experiences. The Meta Quest 3 aims to meet and exceed these expectations, offering users an unparalleled virtual reality adventure.
