After leading by just three points at halftime, Toronto outscored their opponents by 13 in the third quarter, taking control of the game.

Head coach Sean Tucker acknowledged that Toronto started the game “mentally flat,” but praised Buckeye Local’s talent and scoring ability. He highlighted the impact of their 2-3 zone defense, which initially caused problems for Toronto’s offense.

However, Tucker made halftime adjustments and emphasized the importance of defensive intensity. Toronto’s defense fueled their offense, leading to a dominant second half performance. They outscored Buckeye Local 38-13 in the final two quarters.

Several players stood out for Toronto. Nolan Dickinson led the team with 14 points, followed by Cayden Benton with 12 points and Aiden Filby with 11 points. On the other side, Gavin Romanyak was the top scorer for Buckeye Local with eight points.
