Spark Education Launches First In-Person Learning Center in the United States
Milestone Achievement for Innovative Education Provider
SAN MATEO, Calif., Nov. 8, 2023
Spark Education, a leading provider of small-group online classes for K-12 education, has opened its first in-person learning center in the United States. Located at 200 Broadway, Millbrae, California, this milestone opening brings Spark Education’s innovative learning programs to Millbrae and the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area cities. Millbrae Mayor-elect Anders Fung and Margaret Ng, chairwoman of the Millbrae Economic Vitality Committee, joined Spark Education’s Tom Dai and Kevin Wang in cutting the ribbon at the grand opening ceremony.

“Millbrae is a city of family and future opportunity for our children. We’re thankful that Spark Education is here today,” said Mayor-elect Fung. Spark Education serves over 650,000 families worldwide, with more than 20,000 students in the United States alone.
The Millbrae Spark Education Learning Center joins a network of nearly 1000 learning locations worldwide, including Canada, Singapore, and China.

We see our presence in Millbrae as a joint effort to strengthen and develop this wonderful community.”
Interactive Programs for Lifelong Learning
Spark Education’s award-winning programs were created by parents to help children develop a true passion for learning. The Millbrae location offers the same interactive program filled with fun characters, animated storylines, and gamified lessons, all guided by highly-qualified teachers.
The Spark Math program focuses on core critical thinking and problem-solving skills, enhancing math understanding and confidence. Spark Chinese aims to improve Chinese listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
