Billionaire’s Daughter Flaunts Lavish Lifestyle, Sparks Controversy

An 11-year-old influencer known as the “billionaire’s daughter” is making waves on social media with her extravagant lifestyle, which includes flaunting $100,000 watches and $40,000 bags.

Moo Abraham, the daughter of Emily and Adam Abraham, who founded the luxury goods store Love Luxury, has gained a large following on TikTok. The store showcases Moo in its videos, where the 11-year-old often reveals the cost of her outfits.

In one video, Moo claims that her Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 watch costs £100,000 (CAD$170,000), more than double the average Canadian’s yearly income. The discontinued Nautilus 5711 can range in price from $120,000 to $430,000, according to Chrono24, an online watch marketplace.

In the same video, Moo showcases a black Kelly bag from Hermes, stating that it cost £25,000 (CAD$43,000). The price of Kelly bags can vary from a few thousand dollars to over $50,000.

While some of the luxury items featured in Moo’s videos belong to Love Luxury’s stock, not her personal possessions, the videos have garnered millions of views and faced criticism for being out of touch with reality.

Commenters expressed their concern for the struggles faced by many people and called the videos “obscene.” However, others defended the content, highlighting that Moo’s parents can afford it and stating their own desire to be adopted by them.

In an interview, Moo’s mother, Emily Abraham, revealed that her daughter has always been drawn to the camera. She mentioned that a social media manager from their company came up with the idea to feature Moo in videos showcasing the cost of a “billionaire’s outfit,” which contributed to their viral success.

Emily emphasized that the videos provided viewers with a form of escapism. She acknowledged the cost of living crisis but defended their right to share their life experiences, citing their hard work and success.

Emily further noted that the Abraham family’s actual net worth is not publicly disclosed. In other Love Luxury videos, Moo accompanies her mother as they select a private jet for her father and go shopping at luxury department store Harrods.

Some viewers see the videos as a form of entertainment and a way to escape reality, while others criticize the tone-deaf nature of the content amidst widespread economic struggles. The debate surrounding Moo’s videos continues, with supporters arguing for the family’s right to share their experiences and detractors questioning the appropriateness of such displays of wealth.
