Amongst Liars Releases New Single ‘The Shameful’ from Upcoming Album
British modern rockers Amongst Liars have recently unveiled their latest single ‘The Shameful’, accompanied by a captivating music video directed by JR Lewis and Robert Ruardy. This song serves as a sneak peek into Amongst Liars’ forthcoming second album, titled ‘Design’, which is set to be released in March 2024.

In regards to the song, Amongst Liars comments: “‘The Shameful’ is a song that reflects the world of bias and misinformation that we are living in today. Government and media are increasingly bending perceptions to their own narrative and it is becoming commonplace. This gaslighting and brainwashing create a false narrative and distorts reality for many people, causing anger, hurt, pain, division, and distrust in society.”
Amongst Liars, based in Eastbourne and Brighton, formed in early 2020 and has since been known for their unique blend of energetic, modern rock. Their debut album ‘Amongst Liars’, released in July 2022, garnered critical acclaim and received widespread support from BBC Introducing, Kerrang!, and Planet Rock. Several singles from the album were also featured on Primordial Radio’s A-list. The band has reached over 500K Spotify streams and accumulated over 200K views on YouTube.
The band was recognized as the ‘Band of the Year 2021’ and their album was awarded ‘Album of the Year 2022’ by Great Music Stories. Amongst Liars has completed two headline tours and supported Theory Of A Deadman, as well as embarking on a full UK tour with Ayron Jones. The band is currently putting the finishing touches on their upcoming sophomore album ‘Design’ and has a few live dates scheduled, including a UK tour in support of Theory Of A Deadman this month.
